Welcome!

Undergraduate Research Experiences (UREs) are an important aspect of a rich liberal arts education. The purpose of this blog is to showcase the young researchers that I (Alice Louise Kassens, Associate Professor of Economics, Roanoke College) work with. The spring of 2011 will be particularly exciting as I am working with 6 Honors in the Major candidates. I am implementing McElroy's Mentor Demonstration Model. Simply put, I will work on my research alongside my students. We will be a team and it is my hope that we will produce great things. Stay tuned for our updates.
